Nelson Little is a true story teller, and he proudly showcases that in his songwriting. Having been surrounded by acoustic guitars and songs most of his life, it is no surprise that you’ll hear honest, funny, sad and heartbreaking songs out of him that are easy to relate to.
Nelson released his first album, ‘The Little Things’ in September 2013. The first single for that release was “Whiskey Devil’, which reached #5 on the Aboriginal Music Countdown, followed by ‘I Won’t Fall Down’ at #2. The album was nominated for an Aboriginal People’s Choice Award for Best Country Album. Nelson also performed at same awards show, which was held at the MTS Centre in Winnipeg, and broadcast nationally on APTN.
